I am a tenant and my landlord has a touchstone tg2472 gateway. I've given him my x6 and x4s to improve the throughout the house. What advice can I give him for the best solution, please? I was thinking setting the x6 to the 5g network and the x4s to the 2.4g network but I just don't knows enough and I have no idea of bst placements. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

set them both on the 5ghz.
5ghz is a much faster network than 2.4ghz by quite a ways.
It also doesn't have as much interference as 2.4ghz so tends to be more stable
