No WiFi even after factory reset
After nearly a year, I can no longer connect to my Orbi WiFi. The WiFi is visible, but I am “unable to connect” to it. This has happened before, maybe once a few months ago and then more persistently a week ago, but I’ve been able to fix the issue with a factory reset. But no longer: now, after the reset, when I try to set up the system as new, I can’t connect to the default WiFi any more than I could before the reset. While I was able to complete setup using a hardwired desktop, and the Orbilogin site says everything is working and all my devices are connected to the WiFi, the devices say they aren’t, and I still can’t connect to the WiFi. However, the internet itself works, and the hardwired computer can get online just fine. When I leave the WiFi settings as default so my devices don’t automatically try to connect, the problem remains. I’m a total noob at WiFi stuff, so I basically have just tried different factory reset patterns, with the result that now the satellite won’t stay connected to the router either. Any advice? All my settings are factory default. I’ve reset both by holding the button until the light flashes amber and through the orbilogin site. I’ve even tried the 30-30-30 reset. I’ve reset the satellite separately. My modem is from Spectrum, and they swear they’ve disabled its own WiFi capabilities. The satellite is usually on a different floor from the router. The orbilogin site says the firmware for both is up to date.

Update: I unplugged the router, the satellite, and the cable modem overnight. This morning, I disconnected the router from the modem, put the satellite in the same room, and plugged everyone back in, which got me a working wifi that wasn't connected to the internet. I then connected the router back to the modem and power cycled everything, and now everything works just fine? What did I do? Or not do? I suspect this problem will recur, and I don't want to go all office space on these cute little devices.

You can check the following tips. Hope it does work!
- Update the firmware and any apps that need updating on the phone.
- If the problem persists, check your time and date on the phone to make sure it is correct.
- Should none of the former work...
1. Clear out the WiFi data on the phone.
2. Reboot the modem/router.
3. Once the modem/router is fully 'up' again, reboot the phone and re-input the WiFi data.
