Problem setting up WNR614 as Wifi Repeater / Range Extender

Ok, disconnect the WNR614 from everything, do a factory reset, then connect a PC to the LAN port and proceed to set it up again.

I am using the cable for just to setup the netgear router. At the end I don't want to use cable.
I cannot return that item, so could yo please help me in how to setup the netgear router as a wireless range extender.
You cannot use a cable to setup! As soon as you connect them both you cause DHCP problems. Try disabling dhcp first, then connect them. I honestly don't why you even need to connect them both for setup.

Actually, thats what the user guide says (to connect router to computer with wire.
I will try it do it without wire, with wifi only.

I just tried it, but without connecting the router to cabel, I cannot open routerlogin.net.
If you're trying to setup 614 as a repeater I don't understand why you have to connect to the "router" beetel.
I would think the beetle continues on as it always had in the past. I would think ALL changes would be made in the 614 anything other than that doesn't make sense to me.

No no, I am not making any changes to beetel. I am trying to configure netgear only.
So should I connect Netgear to my computer with wire or without wire ?
Also, could I pls have any direct communication with you ? It would be very kind of you.
