R6 300V2 MAC Address Filtering Not Working

R6300V2 Router

MAC addresses of all devices have been added to the access list.

The MAC addresses are correct

The 'Turn Access Control On' box is checked.

The 'Apply' button has been pressed

Computers are still not able to connect without a password

Satellite TV devices are not able to connect.

  • Hi Harbor,

    1. What is the firmware version of the router?

    2. What password are the computers being prompted for? WiFi password or router UI admin password?

    3. How are the satellite TV devices connecting to the network? WiFi or Ethernet?

    4. Please makes sure that the computers are set to remember the network when connecting via WiFi so that they won't be prompted for a password every time.

    Regards,
