I just upgraded to 500mps but when i run a speed test it won't go above 100. The router is supposed to go to 433mps. What do I do?

I don't know where you got that idea from, the top speed that your R6020 router can handle is 100 Mbps. Check the specifications.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.Fast Ethernet = 100 Mbps.
There is nothing you can do to your router beyond buying something more capable.
- Your router is limiting you. It can only do a max of 100 Mbps. Get with the times and buy something recent
- Sadly, "recent" isn't enough. Netgear has been selling these things recently. Heaven only knows why.
