R6200v2 Portfowarding for alternative FTP+SFTP
Hi, I tried to create a second FTP + SFTP with other ports than the basic ones that will point to another computer than the basic ports (21 + 22) but I can't figure out why the connexion doesn't ...

Hi charlesbelisle,
Thank you for responding.
1. I would like to confirm, it did work with the other computer, right?
2. You can try unchecking the option "Use the same port range for the internal port" and set the same Internal Starting Port and have different external ports for the 2 computers.

Is ther an option on that router that needs to be checked to let other than regular ports work?

Lastly : my FTP + SFTP and the VNC connections works in my LAN evironment. It looks to be the router the problem here..!

Hi charlesbelisle,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Have you tried using other firmware versions?
3. Have you tried setting DMZ for the computer you are trying to point to as an isolation step?
4. Have you tried disabling the firewall/security software on that computer?

Hey. Here are the answers :
1. V1.0.1.20_1.0.18
2. Ihavent. I'll try an update
3. I don't know the usage of it. I'll search for it.
4. I havent but it's working on my other computer with the same settings. And actually it worked with the target computer with the "main" ports of the different services I try to point.

Tried to update the firmware. Haven't had any incidences, instead of reseting my Port fowarding already made.
The DMZ doesn't do what I wish : it actually reroute all my existing fowarding rules to a single computer. I wish I could have 2 of them using the same services but on different ports
Anyw clues regarding of that? :)
