R6220 and 500 MBPS service.....
I have 500 service with my cable provider. I recently got a new router (R6220) and figured it should be able to take the faster speeds i was going to be getting. After getting installed, i was getting about 370 Mbps and 40 up with the router. I thought i would try without the router and ended getting 577 Mbps and 45 up. SO im guessing the router isnt going to be able to handle the speeds?? Or are there settings i could enable/disable to get things to work properly?
Thanks for any help ahead of time.
Hi walksonpoo,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Does the speed issue persist on both your wired and wireless devices?
3. You can try changing the MTU values. Please check the links below for the steps.

4. If the issue persists, you can try resetting the router to factory defaults. The steps are linked below.
