R6220 VPN not connecting from IOS

R6220 router Firmware Version V1.1.0.34_1.0.1 I'm trying to enable VPN service on R6220 router to use from my IPhone. Created DDNS account, enabled VPN in router setup downloaded conection files....

Yes, the R6220 does support OpenVPN for macOS and Windows devices but not for iOS.

According to the User manual OpenVPN is supported in R6220: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/R6220/202-11443-04_R6220_EN_08Jan2016.pdf

How do you know it is not supported?
