R6220 wont update firmware from genie app

Title says it all. This genie app is stupid. The only thing that's nice is the network map so I can block people fast. But when it comes to the firmware, it is stuck on .34 and won't update to .60. It says "please wait while the firmware updates, this couod take up to a minute" but it never does? I also have issues randomly while devices accessing the internet but mostly it's an xbox and I'm sure we all know why. Any suggestions?
