R6250 router map shows TV but Samsung TV cannot find wireless connection

it worked until about a week ago, other devices working - TV set up searches for wireless but finds nothing

  • Hi @wfps6296,

The TV will only show up on the network map if it was able to successfully connect to the network. If you try to scan for available wireless network on the TV and it does not detect anything then I recommend contacting the TV manufacturer.

    Hi @wfps6296,

    1. Are the other devices able to detect other wireless networks? If yes, and the TV doesn't then there must be an issue with the wireless adapter of the TV.

    2. Have you tried manually adding the network to the TV?

      Thank you for your help.

My other  devices are shown on the map and have they  internet connection

The TV is in a different room from the modem and rouher; there is not a way to connect with wires. When I click the start up on the TV, it searches for a while and goes back to the start screen - it does not indicate finding a network or not finding a network. I would think the TV should show on the router map before I assume the problem  is with the TV. (It was on line wthin the last week.)  The TV even showed on the router map when I updated the formware but although I have the latest version showing, the TV is not listed.
