R6260-AC1600 Router does not work and it is just blinking Green power light.
Hi,
I have a Netgear router ( R6260-AC1600 ).
the internet function of the router was suddenly gone and it just keep showing blinking green power light after I rebooted.
Other lights ( internet, port1-4, etc) did not turn on.
I disconnected the router and connected the Ethernet cable to my computer directly to check the internet status or wire condition. The internet and wire work properly without any problems.
I also tried to updated/pushed the firmware method using Mac as Netgear's official website guide. However, it said " Transfer time out" message when I tried to process the Put command thru the terminal.
is there anyone who knows how to fix this problem? or should I send the product to the company for fixing or replacement?
thanks for answering my problem.

According to the manual, this can be a sign that "the router firmware is corrupted".
I don't know what this bit means:
The internet and wire work properly without any problems. How are you checking that these "work properly"?
First try a reset:

There is more severe, recovery reset, that you could try:
- Press reset for 30 seconds
- Keep pressing reset while removing power
- Keep pressing reset for another 30 seconds while apply power
If that fails, you are into TFTP country.

This isn't the easiest operation, so if you are forced to use it, you could try a web search to find videos that guide you through the process.
