R6300v2 connecting smart tv magnavox
I'm trying to connect my TV to wireless. It says to put pin number in the router settings. I can't figure out where to put the pin number when I go to settings.
Which TV model?
Connecting a "smart" TV is usually down to working your way through the configuration screens.
In general these devices are incredibly dumb.
If you have a TV with a LAN port, I would seriously consider that option, perhaps with Powerline Ethernet. Much less flaky than wifi.

What, exactly, says what, exactly? Your audience here can probably
find a user manual for an R6300v2 (firmware version?) but the
non-psychics in it have little or no idea what "smart tv magnavox" might
be, or how it works. Are you talking about a WPS PIN? (The router may
have a WPS PIN which you'd need to provide to the client device, not the
other way around. Perhaps: ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless
Settings : WPS Settings.)
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.
Note: "PIN number" is redundant:
