R6300V2 firmware v1.0.4.46_10.0.93

Question

Running Desktop windows 7 64bit with Router R6300v2 at firmware level v1.0.4.46_10.0.93. Running FW check from router it says no updates available. When looking online in NETGEAR web site it says the latest FW is v1.0.4.52_10.0.93. Why does the check from the router say no updates available?

Because it is wrong?

Those "through the device" checks are not reliable, especially if you are using a mobile app to run the check.
