R6400 Firmware V1.0.1.6_1.0.4 Trashed my router
Does a factory reset return it back to factory Firmware? Has anyone tried ? Did the update yesterday, and now it keeps disconnecting (the router). Getting PO real quick, since all of our TV's are smart TV's and we use IPTV , as well as other paid subscriptions services. I'm willing to try, but if someone else has, and found it does not work, then not going to trash all my settings.
Hi @Showalter,
Doing a factory reset will not set the router's firmware back to the previous version. Instead, it will reset the settings back to default. It is recommended that you perform a factory reset after a firmware update then reconfigure your settings. If the issue persists, you can manually flash/install the previous firmware version if you prefer. You may check the links below for the steps.
