R6400 No internet
I activated a CM700 modem with spectrum today and have internet when directly connecting the modem to my laptop. I cannot get an internet connection from the router. My laptop will say it is connected, but no internet. I cannot even get into the router settings with my laptop hardwired to the router.
I have restarted all multiple times, starting with disconnecting everything and working up from the modem.

- Factory reset did the trick. I had tried that earlier but did not hold it long enough to truly reset. All good now!

Is this an R6400 that you had already?
Did you factory reset it?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
- Factory reset did the trick. I had tried that earlier but did not hold it long enough to truly reset. All good now!
