R6400 Router Intermittent Internet Issues
Hi All,
Got Netgear R6400 and using behind the ISP provided Modem/Router although i have switched off the Wifi Functionality from the ISP Provided router. While normally connected sometime i am not able to access the INternet while Wifi been shown Connected.
Also not able to ping the IP address of the ISP Provided Router during the issue, once it came back after Reboot while other occasions it just resolve after couple of minutes. Router shows new Firmware is available but I am not sure if it can really fix the issue or can worsen the situation. While i have connected NAS (QNAP) with it and it gives very stable and better speed thn my old ASUS DSL68U.

The ISP modem /router should be placed in bridge mode OR change the r6400 to AP Mode

If set to DHCP it should be fine.....It will require a reboot......If using any remote access app or Qcloud you'll need check all those apps.
I use a QNAP TS470 Pro 16TB
