R6400 slow internet
I am having extremely slow internet speeds thNetgearhe netgear router I just purchased.
the wifi and lan speeds are just crawling. I replaced a 4-year-old router that was running much faster via lan and wifi.
Is slow internet speeds a known issue with this Netgear router? Any ideas how I can fix this? I have a job and a family so I don't have a ton of time to tinker around with my LAN.

1. Please check your connection while bypassing the router and connected straight to the modem.
2. What is the firmware version of the router?
3. You can try resetting the router.
4. You can try changing the MTU. The links below may help out.

slow speed issue, a few weeks ago my router just started slowing download speeds down, i'm supposed to be getting over 100mbps and i do when connect directly to the modem but it slows down to like 5-20mbps when i connect my router, i'm connected via cat 5 wire, my Firmware Version V1.0.1.24_1.0.18, i don't know what the problem is. i have the router for about 16 months now and it have been working great untill a few weeks ago
