R6900v2 Failed Firmware Update-Corrupt

In leiu of writing an overly drawn-out post, I had hoped to make it concise and perhaps find someone who has had the same or similar experience with the R6900v2. But, if more detail is called for, then here it is.
Well....going back through the 3 different articles/posts (first, second, third), I redid the last step in the 3rd post a couple times and viola! It eventually took.
So to fix this issue, I did the following. I tried it once to no avail, did a power recycle and did the push on bootup and it worked.
tftp -i 192.168.1.1 put R6900v2-V1.2.0.16_1.0.1.img

All of those TFTP recovery schemes involve many details, including
manually configuring the Windows system IP parameters. "do not work" is
far from a useful description of what you did, and what happened when
you did it. Similarly, "all guides that I've found" reveals little
about what you were reading.
