I am also having this issue...
I have updated the firmware to 1.0.9.26_10.2.31 and have done a factory reset after the update but using the Genie app I am unable to change the filter level for the devices on my network. When I log in locally on the app, I cannot make filter level changes but when I log in to the app remotely, it appears I can change the filter level but it doesn't actually save. The filtering just doesn't seem to be working at this point... I need this to work for my household.
- FluceroMar 29, 2018AspirantI am having the exact same issue. Says 'setting failed' when I try to change the filtering level. Shutting of wifi still works.

April 14th 2018 - I am also having the exact same issue - default levels selected on my phone via Genie do not save. screen flashes and default level is allways selected and enforced. I get a quick LOADING pop-up then back to filter level screen with default selected.
