R7000 Filtering Levels Not Working

Just updated our router firmware to V1.0.9.26 on February 23, 2018. Now the filtering levels do not stay set on each device. Some stick and others go back to 'default level on router'. OpenDNS set to...

    Please make sure you do a factory reset after updating the firmware.

Re-setting the router to factory settings after a firmware update is un-needed.

I have been doing these types of updates for years, with many different makes & models

The "user settings" are cached elsewhere, and reapplied automaticly during the update process.

Elsewise doing a manual backup/and restore would be a better reccomendation, which is why that process is built into the update process.

FYSA: my R7000 has been in active use for 3+ years now, at Firmware level V1.0.9.26_10.2.31. Every update I have done all my user settings were right there were I left them after the update was finished.
