Replacement iphone 6 stops at 30mb down on speed test, when old iphone 6 went to 70 mpb down.

Ok, I don't know why it was set at 54mbps, haven't touched these router settings in a year. I changed it to "up to 300mbps" and now my speedtest shows 70mb down on the new iphone 6 I just got. Strange, in may the previous phone always gave 70. Now it's fixed. Hmm, maybe that setting changed by itself someone. I know technology can be strange. THANKS!
