Router R6400 loses wired (ethernet) conection Firmware V1.0.2.34_1.0.22
Hello I bought this router a few days ago after I had a similair prolbem with another router I tried (Tp-link archer c2 v1). I returned the Archer due to being unstable and having a lot of the bin...

To anyone with similair problems.
Here is what fixed this problem for me.
1: I contacted my ISP they, looked into the router and did something on their end to ensure stability to their servers.
2: I updated my Lan port drivers. First I updated the drivers of my lan version that didn't seem to do anything but then I went to device manager, under network adapters, I right clicked my adapter and opened the properties. Under the properties window, I clicked on Driver. And then clicked Update driver. That massively decreased the problems occurance but didn't fix it.
3: Since it didn't fix the problem, I got mad. (that step is really important, trust me :D ) Then I took a pen, and clicked the reset button on the back of the modem (hold for 7-10 seconds to work). Didn't think it will fix anything but it has been like 3 days now and I haven't had the problem since (had it every few hours).
I looked far and wide for a solution to my problem and I didn't find anything anywhere. I really hope this can help someone. Network problems are frustrating and certanly tricky to fix. Really happy I managed to solve my issue.

Hi Morrack,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Yes, changing the MTU value might help. You can follow the steps using the links below.

3. Have you tried resetting the router?
4. Does the connection drop during regular browsing?
