Router web page doesn’t open

When I enter the up address for the router the connection times out. The up address shows up on a scan of the network but I cannot access the web page for the router. Factor reset made no difference.

  • This on a ethernet connected PC to the router?

What Platform are you using to access the routers web page?

Try MS Edge, Firefox or Opera browsers?

Does a ping of the routers IP address work?

Try a 30-30-30 reset on the router with all ethernet connections disconnected?

    What model is this router?

Firefox worked. Odd because I am replacing a model Netgear R6300 with another one due to an electrical issue. I have always used Chrome in the past.

Chrome may have changed something. I prefer to use MS Edge for router management or Firefox as back up.

        Enjoy.
