Setup help needed
EQUIP: Arris Cable Box, Netgear Nighthawk AC1750
iMac Desktop IOS 10.15.7
Powered the AC750 extender in wall outlet near router and cable box. Green light on. Try to connect holding WPS buttons while extender light flashing and within the 2min period. No connection.
Open up Network Preference and see EXT Network. Click and password box appears asking for my WPA2 password. Fail on both my network pass and the Nighthawk pass. Also tried just the word "password". Not.
What's next? Thanks.
The wps might have worked and thats why the _ext asked for a password.
Try the routers wifi passwrod.
If that doesn't work, try factory resetting the extender (push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on).
then try to connect to the _ext and going through setup assistant.
