Thoughts on Netgear AX1800 WiFi Router (R6700AX) for main router and AP?
I have 100(down)/10(up) spectrum service with a spectrum rental router set up in basement. I work from home and have a gaming PC in the basement so having the router in the basement has worked well...
I'd look at an actual mesh system like orbi or the MK nighthawk.
Its designed for mesh for coordinating a satellite and a router.
Devices will roam more effectively versus using 2x R6700AX's.
And those mesh systems support wired backhaul.
With that feature, you could go with the cheaper dual band mesh systems since you're wiring it in.
