Troubleshooting couldn't recognize the issue

I have connected my mobile WiFi hotspot with my laptop now. The home WiFi router is not working properly for the last few days. I have tried troubleshooting many times, but the issue couldn't solved yet. The problem occured when I accidentally clicked an unusual link appeared when I was trying yo get tickets for the upcoming baseball matches on the web. Now, I am stuck with my work and it has been 4 or 5 days. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Can you recognize it?

    What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

    Did you try doing a factory reset and start all over again from scratch?

      I didn't try factory reset yet because I was not sure about that. The post you have shared is looking to be the best solution I think. Thank you for the help. Let me try and follow the steps.
