VPN

Hello all. New here so I hope this is posted in the right place.

I am running Firmware Version V1.1.2.18  and trying to install a VPN on my home network. I found this article through Netgear Support, however I don't think it applies to my router. I get to step 4, "Select ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > VPN Service.', and I can see no 'VPN Service' listed under the Advanced Setup tab.

Would anyone know where to find the proper information with regard to my specific router? Perhaps just a general what to do if  that is not too much trouble.
