Vulnerability ID: NON-2015-0211 on my WNDR4500v3 router
I use Avast interenet security and it says my router is vulnerable. I click the details and ID: NON-2015-0211 shows. How do I fix this? I already made sure my router has the latest firmware.

Sorry about the Elaine, I'm getting the same AVASTI message about this NON-2015-0211 but I have a WNR1000v2 wireless router instead, I have verified via the genie that I have the latest software loaded on the system. How do I take care of this error code?

I too have the same message re NON-2015-0211 and my router is updated with the latest firmware. My Avast is telling me my router is infected and is subject to attacks. So I registered my product immediately as you suggested and then called your support. Operator 2835 informed me there was nothing she could do for me unless I paid for her services, even though the NetGear website says after registering my product I would recieve 90 days of free support. She corrected me and stated it should be written 90 days from date of purchase..... I wish NetGear would back up their product.

Avast tells me my WNDR3700v4 is infected. From what Elaine is reporting, we should expect only a year or less of service before having to buy new?
I haven't tried firmware update yet because I was looking for information whether that is kill or cure.
Avast helped me change password on the router recently. I had no idea everybody in whole world had the same user name and password!!

FYI, our router was register when installed.
