Which media hub is best for extention of functionality for my router

Hi,

I have WNR3500L router, sometimes I'm using the USB storage feature. I'd like to watch movies or see photos on mz Samsung TV (no smart TV). Is there some Netgear product which could work as a "media hub", and it will be connected with my current router (by cable), TV (wireless), with access from Mac? Or should I buy different router? Or other solution from different brand?
