WiFi access point set up
Trying Resurrect this router to expand the range of my Starlink WiFi . I forgot the passwords so I did A factory reset. Thru the iPhone nethear mobile app I am trying to configure this unit. I seem to be able to login using admin and password but I cannot connect to the 5g band, for instance, because I don’t know the password and “password” is not working. Pointers?

Is that accurate? R6400 or R6400v2? Look for "Model" on the product
label. Firmware version?> [...] Thru the iPhone nethear mobile app I am trying to configure this

What about 2.4GHz?

Not entirely amazing.

Here's a radical concept which works for some people:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for
topics like "Types of Logins" and "Use an Internet Browser to Access the
Router". Further reading might not hurt, either. Look more closely at
the product label?- wcalifasProdigy
If you did a hard reset it should go back to factory default and the password should be password. Try getting into the router wired with a laptop.

So I did this. It seems this router cannot connect to a wireless router, i think i has to be plugged in (like a previously had it with my cable modem (old house)). I was able to plug it into my desktop at home, connect it to my starlink router thru the PC which is connected to the starlink router.
Not sure this model has the functionality i need.........
