Wifi doesn't work
My router seems to be fine. All the correct lights are on... same with the modem.
I can plug from my modem directly into a laptop and the internet works fine, but if I use the same Ethernet cord and plug into the router my iphone detects my router & I can connect to it, but I Don't actually get wifi.
How do I/can I fix this?

Hi lstaylor5,
You can find it on the top right hand side on the router UI. The link below may help out.

Hi Turt1e,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Can the laptop go online when wired to the router?
3. Have you tried using another Ethernet to to connect the modem to the router?
4. What is the color of the Internet LED on the router?
5. Have you tried going through the setup procedure for the router? The links below may help out.

6. You can also try MAC spoofing.

- Turt1eAspirant1. I don't know 😬
2. No. It can go online when connected to the modem, but not wirelessly through the router.
3.yes, we tried several Ethernet cables from modem to router.
4. We tried blue and a couple different yellow ones, and a couple black ones.
5. I did not personally do this, but my dad finally broke down and took it into our internet provider and they did 'set-up' again, which apparently fixed it. - lstaylor5Aspirant
