Wired and Wireless AP - WNDR3800
I want to set up my WNDR3800 as a Acess Point. But I want it to support both Wireleess as well as wired. I get it working so computers connecting both wired and wirelessly to get the same IP address in the subnet. This is good.
But how can I access the WNDR3800. What is the IP address for the device so I can access it and change settings.
Thank you for and help. Clearly I need it.

AP mode does provide that setup you desire. In AP mode, you'd log into your primary router to see what IP address it assigned ot the wndr3800 and use that to access it.

How do I change my NETGEAR router to AP mode? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

What is the IP address for the device so I can access it and change settings.A couple of ways, look at the list of items attached to your main router, That should have an IP address that you can connect to with a browser.
You could also look at the IP address of the AP's WiFi source.
If you are using a Windows PC, the desktop genie is good for this task.
