Wnd 4500 no power
I have a wnd 4500 router. This morning the unit is dead. No power. Modem is plugged into same back power supply and has power. Even plugged into the outlet that the modem was in in case problem was that. No still dead. Pressed and held power button for 15 seconds. Still nothing. Any ideas?

Are any of the led's on?
did you check the power supply? (if you have a spare power supply from another device with the exact same voltage and polarity; it can have more amperage, try that. )

Thanks for the reply. The cord that plugs into the back of the router, will not come out. Needed to get back on line. Went to Best Buy and got a new updated router and am just finishing setting up all devices.

If so, the cord should be removable. If its not coming out for some reason (corrosin/fused/etc) , i wouldn't be messing with it to much unless you know what you're doing.
