wndr 4700 connect telnet
Hello. I need to telnet to my WNDR 4700. The firmware version is V1.0.0.56.
To do this, I downloaded telnetenable.exe and used it.
The port scanner shows that port 23 is open.
But when using the "telnet ip address of the router" command, the connection does not occur. Please help me to connect.

Not all Netgear devices support Telnet. It is a dying feature that it is removing wherever possible.
Sometime it is buried in
192.168.1.1/debug.htm
I have no idea if this will work. You are talking about an old device that seems to be a thing of the past in Netgear's product line.

I don't have such a page.
I'm not surprised. We are talking about a strange device that came out 10 years ago, with no sign of newer versions.
I assume that 192.168.1.1 brings up the browser graphical user interface (GUI).
According to reviews on the Russian - language website telnet is supported. The same is said on openwrt in the part of Telnet (original firmware)By all means hunt around for third party ways of getting there. But Netgear doesn't support them so there may not be much to read around here.
