WNDR3300 - do I have V1 or V2? (pic attached)

Want to make sure we are downloading the correct firmware for this router.  How do we tell if it is V1 or V2?

  • @stwn If it's version 1, it will just indicate the model number itself, otherwise it will include a small v and a number to indicate which hardware version.

TheEther is also correct, you may check the firmware version to verify which model version it belongs to.

  • It's easier to tell by logging into the router and looking at the version of the currently installed firmware.  Then look up that version number on Netgear's support website.

Thanks to both of you.  I am trying to help a friend remotely, so was trying to get as much info as I could before saying "do these steps".

        Appreciate it!
