WNDR3400v3: ps4 nat 3
I DO NOT HAVE THAT MODEL!!!! I HAVE A WNDR3400V3 WIFI ROUTER, BUT IT IS NOT LISTED AS A MODEL TO CHOOSE
Firmware Version
V1.0.1.4_1.0.52
I have the most recent firmware that i'm aware of, I have followed the steps listed in these two links:
http://www.playstationing.com/ps4/how-to-change-your-nat-type-on-ps4-and-ps3/839
https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11931
I have also set my PS4 to its own IP, i have it also setup with a direct connection through ethernet. i have turned on the default DMZ server to that IP, and have set the NAT filtering to Open, i have restarted my router and my playstation4, leaving them both off for over 2 min, and STILL am getting a Nat type 3. I have had this issue before, but have been ignoring it. I am wanting to have better online connections now, as I am playing more and more with friends, and want to get it fixed now. I have no other ideas to try to get this to work.
I have also made all of those listed ports set to be forwarded and triggered (as thats what my help center showed is used instead of opening ports). I have talked to my ISP and i've done everything i can with them to make sure its not with them. i have no where else to turn, as i can't really blame my ps4, as i just bought it 2 weeks ago. I had a ps3 before that, and it still gave me nat 3, following the same instructions
Checked my most recent bill from them and they haven't been charging me for one, even though i asked specifically for one... I'll contact them when they're open and hopefully get it fixed

Is your ISP box a modem or combination modem/router?

From what i know, its a combo router + modem
Then you will need to either put it into bridge mode or equivalent such that your WNDR4700 receives a public IP address. Or convert your WNDR4700 into an Access Point. Or set up port forwarding on both the combo router + modem and the WNDR4700.
You have the router/modem and the WNDR3400, right?

nope, Just the wndr3400v3
I'm confused. The WNDR3400V3 is a router. It doesn't have a modem. What is connected to the WNDR3400V3's Internet port?
Let me ask another way. Does the IP address of the WNDR3400V3's Internet port begin with either 192.168.x.x, 172.16.x.x, 10.x.x.x or 100.x.x.x?
Ok, 10.1.x.x is a private IP address. That means your ISP is performing NAT. If you don't have access to the ISP's box then you will have to call them and ask for a public IP address.
