WNDR3400v3 wifi security problem
Today all devices in my house lost wifi connectivity to the router at the same time, and were unable to reconnect. The devices are Android phones, iOS iPad and a Win Vista laptop.
I power cycled the router, no change. Playing with the router's wifi settings, I could connect ok with no security and with WEP, but not with WPA-PSK nor WPA2-PSK.
On a whim I tried using the 5G network and it worked fine, only the 2.5G network is affected. The guest network is similarly affected - ok with no security or WEP, unable to connect otherwise.
Firmware version is 1.0.1.2_1.0.51 - a recent update.
Amy suggestion welcome!

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried changing the ssid and password, no change.
However a reset to factory default cured it! I was also able to change the ssid/password back to what it had been before the problem and it still works.
Further, although the documentation says a factory reset "restores the router to its initial state from the factory", it in fact retained the most recent firmware (I had updated recently).
So, problem solved, and not too painfully - thanks!

Try resetting to defaults and use a Different 2g SSID
still have problems revert to previous FW version
think about replacing it

The factory default only defaults User settings, No FW.
Glad it's working!
