WNDR4300v2 NetGear Genie App Name Issue
Hello all,
Simply reaching out to kindly ask how one changes the name associated with their Netgear Genie app.
To be clear, when one opens the app and presses the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner, it shows a screen that lists your name and email address. Somehow my name changed to something completely different yet my email address stayed the same.
Should I be concerned? How might one go about changing this?
Any assistance would be much appreciated. Should you have any questions or concerns though, please feel free to reach out.

1. When logging in for the Remote Login feature, do the credentials that you have setup (username and password) still work as expected?
2. If you prefer, you can always reset the router to factory defaults and go through the setup of the Remote Login feature. You may find the links below helpful:

3. Also, if you feel uncomfortable, you can change the passwords associated to the feature (email, MyNETGEAR account, Remote Login).

The name that reflects above your email is the name you used during the registration process for the Remote Login feature where the steps are linked here.

Please let me preface by sincerely thanking you for the response.
You certainly did clear the matter up for me however, for some reason, it seems that the name it has been registered under is not mine; My fear being that someone else registered it in order to gain access to my network via my ip address and/or a genie app.
Are there any steps I can take to change the name it's registered under? Did the person who registered it leave an email address? Would changing the password attached to my netgear account and my router suffice?
