WNDR4500 Power Light Blinking
Hi community.
I have a WNDR4500 N900 Dual Band Gigabit Router.
Power light is on and green but blinking which according to the manual suggests corrupt firmware or a firmware update whch was interupted through a power out.
Is there a solution to this or is the routert now junk?
I have the download zip file for firmware update on my laptop, and could connect via usb to upload if this is an option, but I cant work out if this will work as my laptop doesnt mount it when connected via USB.
I have tried the 30s reset, power off for 30s, then power on all with trest button held down; but this hasnt helped. Any advice is welcomed.
Many thanks.

You may be a candidate for the TFTP recovery scheme. See, for
example:

Am just in the process of following the thread and downlaoding the file and TFTP client for my Mac Powerbook.
Fingers crossed.Will update once done.
Many thanks community.

Keep reading. There should be no reason to download any TFTP client
program; just use the command-line TFTP client which is already on the
Mac:
pro3$ type tftp
tftp is /usr/bin/tftp

So, marking the thread as "solved" was premature.

Please do.
