X6 AC3200 security

I already pay 90+ per yr for internet security. Why can’t I install mcafee on my router.
I have to pay another $70 to secure the router?

    First of all, we do apologize for the inconvenience of not getting back to you immediately due to the backlog in the system. May we know what do you mean by you can't install McAfee on the router? If you are trying to install McAfee on the router itself then that is not possible, however, you may still install protection on your entire network by using the Netgear Armor feature which your router is supported.
