2mb max speed download

Question

Hey there, I ain't use to using something like this. Infact I like to use wireless but here we are with a pc what is wired. I use the ex2700 as a wifi range extender and hook the ethernet to my pc since it is impossible to hook my router from downstairs all the way up here. I get 50mbs wireless but 2mb max when using this method??? Maybe someone could help me out, plus I set it up on both 5g and 2g internets fyi.&nbsp;

Somehow I doubt you used both 2.4ghz AND 5ghz as the EX2700 is a 2.4ghz single band device.&nbsp;
it can't pickup or use 5ghz at all.&nbsp;
Have you tried a different device to see if its a device specific issue?&nbsp;

okay nevermind apparently its the&nbsp;AC1200 Dual Band WiFi Range Extender (EX6120)As i just checked mynetgear after 5000 years it let me.

What firmware is on the extender?&nbsp;
What router are you connecting it to?&nbsp;
What method of setup did you use? Wps, the app, installation assistant?
