What actual firmware version are you on?
the last round of updates for several product lines caused dns issues.
Not sure if yours is part of that since we don't have a firmware number as well as you didn't describe what actual issue is happening in detail.
You just say "5ghz issue". Is it saying "connected, no internet" does the 5ghz stop broadcasting entirely? are you unable to connect to the 5ghz? what is actually going on?
Also, what modem/gateway is it connected to?

I am on firmware version: 1.20.0261.01 - Not sure if I ever updated the firmware since I installed the router. The 5ghz signal seems to flucuate a lot on certain devices. For instance on my Google Pixel 4a phone sometimes I will only get around 50% of signal on the 5ghz signal when I'm standing two feet from the router. If I switch to the 2.4ghz signal it is full bars and rock solid stable. Sometimes my Sony tv located about 15 feet from the router will lose the 5ghz signal as well. This always happens on another airtv2 device I have setup on 5ghz for streaming ota channels.
I don't think the 5ghz signal stops broadcasing entirely it's almost like it hiccups and flucuates the signal quite a bit. Maybe I am getting some sort of interference all of a sudden? It's worked solidly up until a few weeks ago. The Router is connected to a Netgear CM1100 cable modem from Costco which has been rock solid.
Any thoughts?
