AC1750 Dual Band extender
Just purchased this extender, do all the devices have to be connected to the Netgear.Ext, or can I leave some devices connected to the Nighthawk router directly

You can seperate them out between the 2.
You could also enable "onewifi" on it and let the devices themselves roam between the 2 if you choose.
the "onewifi" feature is the mesh component.
