AC1750 R6400v2 firmware update does not have exe file in download
I went to this website to download the latest firmware update. The download has a release notes file and a .chk file. I am using a Mac. Where can I get the exe file to execute? I would just use routerlogin.net but I forgot my security responses. AC1750 R6400v2

You don't execute the file. You upload it to the router following the manual update process.

ahh but it needs my router admin login info which I do not have nor do I remember my security questions and since the item was purchased awhile ago, I no longer have support.

If you don't know the login and didn't setup (or don't know) the security questions, then you'd need to factory reset to get back to the defaults
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
Then reinstall the router.
