AC1900 C7000v2 Firmware Update
Bought the AC1900 WiFi Cable Moden Router Model C7000v2 in Dec 2020 but just hooked it up this week (3/25/21). Upon setup, received "Firmware Out of Date" message. The Nighthawk app/Routerlogin.net...

There's a bug in the Nighthawk app that throws up this message.
You have no control over the firmware on your cable modem/router so it means nothing. It is just annoying and gets in the way.
Netgear knows about this. But don't hold your breath waiting for an update.
