Add a WiFi extender to R6900
The router was purchased in 2017. I now live in a mountain community and need a WiFi extender. The instructions direct me to search for Neatgear_Ext in the WiFi settings, but that extension is not there. Please advise. Thank you

What actual extender did you buy?
Did you try to set it up using wps first? Or what have you tried?
The extender I purchased is NetGear EX2800 AZNA. I followed the wsp instructions, but it did not work. I then tried to connect with the NetGear installation assistant, but that stalled when I was directed to connect with the extender in Settings. I do not have an extender in my Settings.
If you tried using WPS, then factory reset the EX2800 prior to using the installation assistant.
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on. Then try connecting to it and using the installation assistant.
