After power interruptions settings are lost

If I power down router to clear an issue the router does not retain original settings and I have to completely reset everything.

I clicked upgrade but it said I had latest copy.I know 134 is the last one.If I power down the router everytime I have to go back and load wifi info , port forward and everything else.Thanks

No its not.&nbsp;
After you installed the the firmware, did you try a factory reset?&nbsp;
Maybe an old/corrupt setting is causing issues.&nbsp;

If you want to setup password recovery, check the box.&nbsp;
In terms of the old/new password. the old one should be the default if you factory reset it.&nbsp;
Default login: admin
default password: password
