App Nighthawk Speed test

hi, wanted to know if it happens to you too that the Nighthawk app detects much higher wifi speed measurements than other wifi speed tests? Precisely on the Nighthawk app I reach 820/800 mb, while on the other apps I barely reach 400 mb. Why do you think?

    Depending up on yoru ISP speeds, router, modem and what you having the app in stalled on will impact how the app detects and reports speeds. If your using a wireless device that doesn't have good support for wifi conenction rates, then the app may report lower results. Devices with higher speed support or AX modes, you should see nigher speeds being reported by the app.

    When you test the speed using the nighthawk or orbi app, it actually hosts the test on the router. Not on the device you're testing on. 

    So its going to be closure to a wired speed. 

    When you test with the speedtest app, it hosts the device on the device you're testing on. So if the bottleneck is the wireless connection (which at fast enough speeds it is) that'll be the speed from device--->router
