Hi texasTrio,
Call 1-408-638-4327
Please be informed that you need to have your proof of purchase as the support will ask for it. Technical configuration or support should be with GeekSquad but you can ask support team to register it under your name given that you have your proof of purchase.

Hi texasTrio,
You can call support team for NETGEAR. But the configuration support will be with Geeksquad.

I have proof of purchase but that doesn't appear to be enough. I have gone around with online and phone support. They keep asking me for name and customer id of previous owner. The phone support gave me the customer id, but said online support has to register. Online support wants the previously registered name. How am I supposed to know who previously registered the best buy refurbished with serial number product? My last call with phone support instructed me to send a note to customer service. If the routers were not working great, I would be complaining and then would have returned both routers and probably both switches too. Funny thing is, I was able to get one router registered, but not the other. I sent pictures of router, BB receipts, etc. I haven't heard back from customer service yet. This means I have to interact with forums, customer support online, customer support by phone and customer service just to get a router registered. This seems kind of expensive for netgear.... just saying.

Hi texasTrio,
I believe it is now registered under your name. Can you confirm.
