Block an external IP address in Netgear R9000-100NAS Nighthawk X-10

I had an intruder logged in from a local IP that is a Comcast Public WiFi.  It is over a mile and a half away.  I want to block their IP.  I am not clear on how to do that.  I did not get a MAC address, only an IP.  Thanks,

WGD

  • Can you be more specific? What are they logged into? Your router? Your router's Wi-Fi? A machine on your home network?

Depending on your answer, the appropriate action will generally be to either disable remote management, UPnP or port forwarding.

My bad.  Can we delete this thread.  I just realized it was the router linking to the Internet.

      Sorry,
